Air Canada: Ground Boeing 737 Max 8 Airplanes

0 have signed. Let’s get to 5,000!

On Sunday, March 10, 2019, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft crashed minutes after takeoff in Ethiopia, killing all 157 people on board, including 18 Canadians.

This is the second time in 5 months that this model has crashed minutes after take off – the first incident took place off the coast of Indonesia in October 2018, killing all 189 people on board.

Civil Aviation Administration of China and Indonesia have grounded all Boeing 737 MAX 8s, as well as Cayman Airways and Ethiopian Airlines.

We are asking Air Canada to follow suit and ground all 24 MAX 8 aircraft in its fleet to ensure our safety. This could prevent more tragedies and save lives.

If you agree that passenger safety comes before profits, please sign and share this petition today urging Air Canada to keep their Boeing 737 airplanes on the ground!
