What makes Airbnb, Airbnb?  It's hosts and travelers. Without either, Airbnb fails!

Therefore, we, the Las Vegas host community, are asking you to also donate to help fund our legal fight here in Nevada!

Las Vegas is one of the most profitable markets for Airbnb. We have been able to help Airbnb make millions of dollars EACH AND EVERY YEAR so the least you could do is donate too.

We are asking you to pledge 3% of the money Airbnb has earned through and because of the host community in Las Vegas so far this year in 2022.  We’re in this fight, together!

When Airbnb made the call for hosts to open their doors to refugees, we have answered the call and together with Airbnb, have worked to help host millions of refugees from around the world.  During the pandemic, when Airbnb asked hosts to open our homes to house first responders and host them for free, we did that too.  When our local host leaders, Jackie and Louis from the Greater Las Vegas Short Term Rental Association, asked us to open our wallets to help fund our legal fight here in Las Vegas, we did as well.  The only one still missing and who needs to do the same is your company, Airbnb!!

So today, we are making the call to you Brian, will you pledge to donate 3% of the money Airbnb has earned this year alone from hosts in Las Vegas?  

We are still short on the fund-raising goal set to ensure and protect our legal challenge in Nevada should we need to go all the way to the Nevada Supreme Court. That fight is something which is very much expected because Clark County is one of the most aggressive municipalities in Nevada who feels they are above the law and doesn’t care about wasting taxpayer money.

A win in the courts here in Nevada is not just a win for hosts, but also a win for hosts everywhere, and also a win for Airbnb.

So please, as partners during the good times and the bad times, we are asking you to join the fight with us and answer our call, donate to our legal fund!
