As we all know, the summer season is starting up very soon, and the heat has already begun. For many of us, the issue of having no air conditioning in classrooms / throughout the school is terrible. Personally, I believe that not having air conditioning disrupts the learning process. With experience as a kid in school, I experience a lot of thoughts on this. I've seen many pictures of schools reaching 85+ degrees, plus now windows are closed due to threats of shootings. I think it’s ridiculous to leave kids sitting in these environments for up to 80 minutes at a time. I know that MANY schools do not have this in their budgets, but if we get enough signatures then maybe we could make a difference. After all what exactly do we pay school taxes for. They need to figure out a budget where air conditioning is fit in. I myself would be willing to donate or maybe do fundraisers in order to get some additional funding, as I am sure many other parents would if they are able.
