10,000 signatures to get the Canadian federal government to emend the health protection
This petition had 60 supporters
3 years the federal government passed the health protection act, this act denies people with disabilities from entering Canada and achieving permanent residency. The government and the Immigration, Citizenship and refugee Canada passed this law because it was believed that people with disabilities have too many health issues that would be a burden and cost the government a lot of money. Sign this petition to communicate to the government and the minister of citizenship, immigration and refugee Canada and the federal government to emend this act, as it doesn't align with the goals of diversity and inclusion that Canada tries to create and we must realize that people with disabilities contribute to the growth of our country in many ways including the enrichment of our diversity.
