The AFRICOM operations in Africa conducted about 265 airstrikes in Somalia that resulted in civilian casualties with no oversight or accountability the recent on Feb 2 2020 killed 18 yrs old woman and wounded a 70 and a 14 yrs old girl with airstrike that hit their home by the AFRICOM air command and March 10 that strike a minibus which six civilians died instantly an eyewitnesses and relative of the victims told Amnesty international that neither of those targets were Al-Shabaab and media reports claimed that there are similar strikes that killed civilians than the intended targets the AFRICOM haven't acknowledged nor paid any reparations to families that have been affected reports it was also reported that the civilians whom were injured by those strikes are fatally ill without proper medical care, this airstrikes have severe long term effects on civilians like birth defects radiation that affects the body water contamination and internally displaced civilian population the purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness of the war crimes the U.S. AFRICOM are committing on our fellow African brothers in Somalia Sign the petition shared it in media outlets to contribute to the campaign of ending the AFRICOM operations in Somalia and Africa.
