Many children including myself have been taught lies in elementary school. We were taught that Christopher Columbus discovered American and we all thought that he was hero to be looked up to. I went into 6th grade just to discover that Columbus was no hero. He killed countless Natives, spread disease and forced many of them to leave their homes against their will. Our children are being taught lies and as American citizens they have the right to know the horrible truth of the Europeans arrival to America.
