There are several spots around the Mason Fairfax campus that are dedicated for student of certain majors, such as the "Physics Lounge" for physics majors and a space reserved for those in the "Geography and Geoinformation Science" Department. However, those in English and Creative Writing degree programs don't have any locations around campus that are private and devoted to only them, despite Horizon Hall being the home to the English Department offices. Join us to help raise awareness about this issue, and sign a petition to send to the Chair of the English Department--Tamara Harvey--so that we might endeavor to reserve a small room or location on campus in which to study, hangout, and socialize.
