I am a resident of the area and am deeply invested in the development projects that impact our community. One such initiative, the Burswood race track development, has been under consideration for some time. This facility will not only cater to motor sports enthusiasts but will also generate economic activity, jobs, and can act as a tourist attraction, benefiting our whole community.

Burswood, known for its dynamic community and scenic beauty, is the ideal location for such a project. A motor race track is likely to attract tourists from across the country and beyond, thus boosting our local economy. According to a study by the University of Florida, motor sports can bring in as much as $2 billion in annual economic activity in areas similar to ours (University of Florida, 2018).

Furthermore, this project can create hundreds of jobs in construction, operations, and maintenance. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) indicates that a motor race track can create as many as 7,000 jobs during construction and more than 2,000 permanent jobs once operational (NASCAR, 2017).
