These billboards are not only located in Dartmouth, but also Bedford highway and the Kearney Lake/Bedford Highway exit.
The "Canada has no abortion laws" is misleading as it is not true and dilutes a very complex series of laws that Canada does have in place, advertising false information.
The call to action leads to a one sided "anti-abortion" webpage. The webpage promotes the action of change for "non existent Canadian law". With an end goal of outlawing abortion past the first trimester.
This billboard is not only promoting anti-abortion but is also insinuating that Canada has unregulated abortion laws which is false. The billboard is promoting stigma around abortion, is offensive and unreliable information.
Please sign this petition to have these billboards REMOVED from ACROSS HRM.
