Many candidates who have passed the TET held by the Government of Assam in 2019 and 2021 are still deprived of appointment. We have repeatedly requested the government for our appointment through memorandums as well as personally meeting the departmental minister. We have even met the Hon'ble Chief Minister more than once. Today thousands of candidates have passed TET and are waiting for appointment. After 7 long years, Assam government conducted TET for the recruitment of teachers for primary schools in 2019. Only 8% of the candidates qualified Assam TET that year. Regrettably, the Assam government has so far not appointed such a small number of candidates. In addition, the government held TET again in 2021 by publishing advertisements for only 9000 posts. At present, thousands of candidates are suffering in Assam due to the wrong policies and biased behaviour of the government. The government is thus depriving thousands of eligible candidates. By not recruiting us, the government is depriving not only us but also the students of their good education. We humbly request the government to immediately publish advertisements for at least 30,000 teachers' posts for primary schools. The government shoud ensure justice to us. We have proved more than once that we are worthy. Let the government take responsibility now and keep our dignity intact.
