When the US Constitution was created over 200 years ago, this document and the Declaration of Independence were inspired and admirable emancipation and aspirations of people and communities to advance well being and the common and greater good. These documents, in particularly the US Constitution as law of the land, has served the people and nation well. However, the Constitution has also been manipulated, abused and corrupted by the majority, social influential and or those in power to marginalize, exploit and abuse the minorities, poor and vulnerable for over 2 centuries through interpretation, adaptation and establishment of laws that would benefit, favor and or protective of the majority, social influential and political dominance all the while disfranchised or even victimized the minorities or vulnerable.

The 1st Amendment used to be covered for the majority to oppress the minorities and vulnerable people or communities through acts such as freedom of religious persecution, discrimination, lynching, verbal and physical attacks. The 2nd Amendment were more intended for slaves and minorities control, exploitation, oppression and to safeguard against slaves revolts rather than fear of foreign invasion or conflict and which is a scourge on society through losses of many ten of thousands lives and injuries each year. Voting rights were not possible for female until early 1920’s and certain minority communities until 1960’s. And therefore, to achieve just and inclusive, social equity and equality, inclusiveness and diversity, and well governed societies; the Constitution must not be left to the whim of interpretation and translation, political polarization, abuse of power and corrupted governance. Centuries of systematic oppression and institutionalized discrimination, marginalization and abuse are still very much reflected in the culture of fear, indignity and sufferings of minorities (across such as race, ethnics, religion or non religion, belief, gender, sexual oriented and culture), poor and vulnerable.

Past centuries and millenniums have been about borders, protectionism, conflicts, wars, militarism, imperialism, colonialism, exploitation and oppression among communities and nations. The 21st century onward must be about liberation, freedom, democracy, communities and nations building, global integration and borderless societies, sustainable development and living, protecting and caring for sentient common habitat, quality life and well being, and advancing the common and greater good.

Letter to
U.S. House of Representatives
U.S. Senate
President of the United States
Advance And Create A 21st Century Constitution

The US Constitution must be representative of the people, reflect the diversity and needs of communities, embolden people aspirations, establish transparent and effective governance, and enforce just and humane rule of law. The US Constitution should not be left to the whim of interpretation and translation, political polarization, abuse of power and corrupted governance. The American people and America can do better to advance democracy, liberty, freedom, human rights and dignity, prosperity and well being, and the common and greater good by establishing a modern, meaningful and social essential 21st century Constitution. The United States can become a global human rights, environment rights and global governance leader with establishing and enforcing meaningful, essential and humane rule of law and governance. However, to achieve this, the Constitution must evolve to reflect the needs, aspirations and emancipation of 21st century mind and to inspire and empower these aspirations.

The UN Universal Human Rights Declaration and affiliated treaties such as UN Convention On Economical, Social, Cultural, Political and Civil have been developed, revised and evolved over past decades. The US Constitution ideals can be eloquently, elegantly and effectively combined with these fundamental international governance and social documents to produce forward an enlighten document to better advance social fundamentals such as democracy and liberty, social equity, justice and equality; inclusiveness and diversity; the rule of law and good governance; prosperity and security; mindful and well being societies; and the common and greater good.

In an interdependent and interconnect world, the goodwill and efforts would also transform a culture of fear, divisiveness, mistrust, exploitation, oppression, aggression and violence to a culture of peace, harmony, inclusiveness, collective and shared accountability and responsibility, cohesiveness, collaboration, empathy, reason and compassion. In other words, enlightened cultures and societies. In addition, the efforts would also inspire and empower people and communities to fully develop potential for well being, live quality life or life at the fullest all the while advance civilization and the essence of being and humanity.

As a nation of migrants, as satellites of global ethnics communities and melting pot of culture, this nation pluralistic emancipation and diverse communities (nation strengths: beauty and pluralism in diversity) can be integrated and united to help usher in an era of inclusiveness, diversity and pluralism to foster a global culture of empathy, diversity, pluralism and respect for human rights and dignity, and advancement of well being and the common and greater good. And to forge global alliance to build good global governance, institutions and rule of law to liberate and lift the oppressed, poor and vulnerable; and to stir nations and global communities toward building better a better world and humanity.

For the advancement of American, America and the global community, we hereby strongly encourage and urge the White House administration and Congress to effectively and comprehensively transform the US Constitution to an advanced modern 21st century social emancipation and comprehensive law of the land to advance meaningful social essentials such as democracy, liberty, freedom, inclusiveness, diversity, pluralism, human rights and dignity, prosperity and security, good governance and rule of law, and the common and greater good. In addition, to inspire and empower aspirations to advance the essence of being and humanity to build a better world and humanity. And to bravely exemplify the United States as a global democracy, liberty, human rights, environment rights, governance, humanitarian and well being practitioner and leader.
