Now people in care homes are allowed not 1 but 2 visitors. Adults with learning disabilities in care settings still don’t have these rights. My brother has Downs Syndrome and is in 24 hour assisted living care. He and many others are still not allowed visitors, these people are suffering just the same way as people in care homes but once again have been forgotten and pushed into the background. I would be grateful for anyone that could sign this petition and see if we can get some change for them, so they can see their families too. Many of these people suffer with complex difficulties, my brother himself diagnosed with Dementia last year. Let them see their families, so they and their families can have the happiness that we see the families off care home residents having.
