There used to be an adult adhd service in Preston, Lancashire but lost funding in 2019 since then we were switched to an independent company which was all online then again to a place in Haydock which if not local is again online. A lot of adults with ADHD have other mental health conditions alongside or are on the autistic spectrum which makes understanding someone when only seeing their face extremely anxiety provoking. Its unrealistic diagnosing adhd without seeing the whole of a person and their bodily actions too. I’m a 51yr old female and have severe combined adhd and my 21 yr old son is on the waiting list for a diagnosis.
