Hello we are Jorge Mercado and Mike Garcia and we want to push for change regarding immigration rights in the United States. Today, while immigrating to America, families are forcefully separated at the border. This is something that no child should ever go through in their life. This is a major issue in our country because no matter the age of the child he or she should never be taken away from their parents. Some children even stay in the detention centers for ICE for very long periods of time, and stay separated from their families. Being hispanic men in our country, we want to see all children and families treated equally whether they come from another country or not. We want everyone to be aware of what is happening.
