This is a dangerous time - do not force kids into a potentially dangerous environment. Keep them safe.

Out of curiosity, I visited my child's K-12 school yesterday morning - and although it is supposed to be a "closed campus", nobody objected to me (and several other parents!) being there... Probably because there was ZERO staff presence before 9:15am - which also permitted for mixing of multiple grades in the school playground. So much for the planned effectiveness of "cohorts", staggered start times and separate entrances!
Moreover, I would estimate only 10% of students were wearing masks. When EVENTUALLY school staff started showing up, I observed a student tell their teacher that they had forgotten their mask at home, and ask to have one to use for the day. The teacher's response: "I'm sorry... I can check, but I don't think we have any." #unacceptable

My school has been exposed to a case and it’s still open and running like nothing is wrong.

Children should not be sent to school. It's to risky sending kids to go to school.

Agree. The governed had 6 months to develop a safer options but now parents are forced to choose an in-clas option if they want to keep their children at their current school. Even transition model is not really well prepared and there is no detailed plan till now. School didn't provide the support in time while saying the students in Transition model won't get any detailed plan till next week and eventually will get a lower grade. The government should have prepared better and be aware the danger of covid, not putting student's (and their families') lives at risk.

If there is no problem with schools, and put 30-40 kids in a 200 sq. feet classroom, why all the government offices closed like Service Canada since march 2020, even their workplaces big as couple thousand sq. feet. And just 5-6 people working in it ? i am about to lose my mind !
Anyone has an answer ?
