Gus Maia criou este abaixo-assinado para pressionar Adobe

We are designers, we are animators, we are artists, we are the people that make that big clock called After Effects ticking every single day.

So why isn't Adobe improving that clock, or at least not making it worst?

I'm pretty sure every single of you remember that time that H.264 saved your life, as it is, for most people, the most reliable codec out there, that assures good quality with really low file size and fast render times.

It was really nothing bad about it, it just did it's everyday work, and that was it. So Adobe decided to bring it down. They said it was 'Apple never did a good job supporting h.264 in a QT container, it was buggy and unreliable, and they are not doing any further development.'

Was it really?

I'm pretty sure many of us would just press CTRL/CMD+M, choose that H.264 preset with your favorite tweaks and hit render, and that was it.

Now Adobe wants us to open another software that will consume more time and resources, link your After Effects projects (and I don't know about you guys, but for me it takes way longer then it should), wait for them to Sync, then press the output settings, wait a bit more, tweak the required settings and then repeat that for every single export that you wanna do. Sounds like an improvement to you? I don't think so.

Also, if you wanna do a lower resolution export, you can just hit the 'Half' or 'Quarter' button on AE's export, instead of having to scroll through all those settings on AME's and do the maths to adjust the video's size.

Let's bring that home back home.
