Shenandoah Community Health has been serving our community for many years. As our community grows so does our needs. Shenandoah Community Health is one of the few provider's in our area that accepts West Virginia Medicaid. As a result their case load is very large making it often difficult to get an appointment and making well child visits necessary to be scheduled several months in advance. They only have a handful of doctors to cover all of the patients. The doctors already on staff are being overworked and patients are not having their needs met because of it. It has been suggested to the Administration that another pediatrician be added to the staff,with no success. If we as a community speak perhaps the Administration will listen.
