It is important that we re-name the west lift the snail lift because it will inspire people who are new to skiing to go up and try Super Nova (or a different trail) because it will sound less intimidating. You might think this will discourage experienced skiers, however, if they ARE experienced they will know what "Snail" lift's pace really is. 

Renaming the west lift "Snail" lift will also improve use, because "I'm going to go up snail lift" sounds so much more interesting than saying "I'm going to go up the west lift"

The Rocket is named "The Rocket" because it goes fast. Why can't we name the west lift "Snail lift) because it goes slower and is great for beginners. 

Renaming the west lift would not cost very much money, and you would simply have to paint "Snail" on the side of the lift, instead of "West".
