I am tired of people suffering because of big international sports arrangements. It is time to put some ethics into sports.

Basic worker rights such as being safe at work, being paid and having the right to withdraw labour, should be corporate cornerstones. Don't let FIFA think it's okay to swindle you out of insisting on them

Companies, especially those from the nation in which I am part of the electorate (the US), should not profiteer off underpaid and abusive forced labor. Events like the World Cup are complex social ventures, but they need not be inhumane. Market capitalism exists for the benefit of society and not the other way around. As such, we must correct the system that has created such a misalignment of intention. Corporate good must be more aligned with social good. This is one way to be better.

This should not be overlooked; human lives are not disposable for profit.
