Khalid Malik started this petition to Adidas

Greetings

The engraved star, was presented to the Greatest Boxer, Muhammad Ali, in 2002. But unlike other artists name, Ali's star at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, was presented on an easel which was then put on the wall at the entrance to Dolby Theater.

But why was this exception made?

Ana Martinez, the producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, says Ali "did not want the name of Mohammad to be stepped upon,"

Ali was not only a great athlete but a showman n entertainer n two Grammy-nominated spoken word albums. In addition after converting to Islam, this great legend and Champ exhibited great love and respect for the Prophet of Mankind, Mohammad, peace be upon him!

Adidas recently launched a sneaker, depicting the artwork of Cey Adams. This is a tribute to Mohammd Ali but it violates everything THE CHAMP stood for. The name Mohammd Ali must not be engraved on the shoe. The Muslims all over the globe find such artwork an insult and based on ignorance to the sensitivities of others belief. Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, said, "Man slips more from his tongue than his feet." If the same artwork by Mr. Adams is added on a shirt, it will be financially more beneficial to Adidas.

I as a Muslim REQUEST that this sneaker be withdrawn immediately. I urge the readers to join me.
