We strongly oppose the location and building of the new school on HWY D/ Wern Way. We want to preserve the rural Genesee community by keeping this area natural and undeveloped. Our opposition is not towards the children or the schools mission; it simply is not a good fit for the current rural residential area and will greatly disrupt the peaceful environment in which local families have made home. Families made the choice to reside in the quiet Town of Genesee to escape the hustle and bustle of busy city life and by allowing the building of this school changes the entire landcsape and demographic of the area we love.
