A proposal has been put forward to build an outdoor biosolid human waste storage facility in Adelaide Metcalfe township at 25700 Kerwood Rd. Biosolids are the treated sludge from waste water treatment plants. It includes all sources of human sewage including residential, commercial, industrial, and hospital waste. It is known to contain numerous pathogens including bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, chemicals, hormones and pharmaceuticals. Biosolids are only tested for 11 heavy metals E.coli and some nutrient out of an estimated 8,400 commonly used chemicals. This property has recently been tiled and is in close proximity of the Sydenham River which will be affected by runoff and also affecting residents wells. The odour that this outdoor facility creates has been described as noxious by people who have lived near them which will not only constantly affect the residents within kilometers of the facility but also directly affect 2 different tourist businesses in the area who bring in people from all over the world. This product is known to spontaneously combust releasing chemicals into the air. Please tell our local politicians that this is not the right place for this to be located
