The University of South Florida has quickly become a largely-populated university. Lack of housing, lack of affordability, and numerous adversities come with attending such a large university that grew at such a quick rate. Communications students are concerned and left with a scarce amount of online classes. Many students do not live on campus and have different circumstances that do not allow them to. Not only that but students were told that there were always going to be online options for them, until now. Trying to register for Spring 2023 classes has been nonetheless a challenge and stressful, as USF is offering an extremely low number of online classes. Being in a technologically advanced era, it is unrealistic that classes are not offered online. Knowing all of the factors and circumstances that are occurring, USF should be considerate in offering more online classes in the Communications Department to alleviate the excess hour surcharge from taking classes that are not necessary for students' degree work and extreme stress on college students  Sign this petition if you agree that more online classes should be offered and student's situations should be taken into account.
