Add a sidewalk near Jacobs School of Music

With new crosswalks, buildings, and additions being made each and every day across IU's campus, one more small fix couldn't hurt. A new sidewalk is needed between the Music Library & Recital Center and the Musical Arts Center. On that lawn, a strip of grass has been reduced to dirt from a constant flurry of students. The path also turns very muddy when rain comes. In years past, a sprinkler was placed there in attempt to regrow the grass, to no avail. Currently, the path is dominated by visually unappealing mulch. It's a marginal improvement over straight dirt, but it doesn't completely solve the mud problem. Adding a concrete sidewalk to accommodate the foot traffic would serve both the students and the campus. The campus would continue its reputation for looking top-notch; and the students would not have to trample over more grass to avoid mud.
