Recent news has surfaced that the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls are under investigation for “tampering” in regards to recent trades/signings during free agency. It’s said that they were in possible contact with the traded player prior to free agency and the trade. Specifically the Kyle Lowry and Lonzo Ball tradings.

The problem with this is that it has been going on throughout the whole NBA league. One or two teams should not be the only targets for this investigation. If you are going to investigate teams, investigate them all, including the Lakers as there has been recent surfacing of Lebron recruiting players prior to free agency. Or Adam Silver and the NBA, is this something you will not consider as you are trying to push specific teams towards the finals?

There is speculation that teams are complaining about the possible strengths the Bulls and Heat are developing. This is causing certain teams (or players) in the league, that have power and pull to get their way to have possible competition investigated.

Now do not single out one or two teams, and turn your shoulder towards the rest of the league when it’s so obvious other teams are doing this. Just because other teams in the league you favor doesn’t mean you pull stunts like this. You will lose viewership and ratings because of moves like this. 

As fans of the NBA, please sign this petition to have Adam Silver and the NBA either investigate all teams for tampering that has so obviously been going on, or drop all tampering investigations versus select few. Either hold all accountable or none at all.
