Let Every Instagram User Share Links on Their Story

With the increased use of technology in our lives, social media has become the biggest tool of communication in our world today. It's become increasingly easy to use social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to spread awareness about important societal issues across the globe.

With the Black Lives Matter movement, it's become apparent that everyone has a platform, no matter how big or small, that they can utilize to make change and take steps towards bringing justice to people who are stripped of it

However, Instagram currently only allows its users with above 10,000 followers to share links to their stories. Others are limited to one link slot in their Instagram bios which restricts their ability to use their platform to the maximum extent.

So, I want to reach out to the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri (@mosseri), and ask him to give every user on Instagram an opportunity to amplify voices of the silenced by letting accounts of all follower numbers share swipe-up links to their Instagram stories. I strongly believe this would make sharing important tools such as petitions, donation links and educational resources significantly more efficient.

EVERYONE HAS A PLATFORM TO MAKE CHANGE.

NO CHANGE OR PLATFORM IS TOO SMALL.
