As of December 9 2021, the latest Call of Duty Warzone update has literally broken 2019's Modern Warfare, making a game people paid for, a game you can still buy today, currently not playable. 

In March 2020, Call of Duty Warzone launched as a huge mode which was a part of Call of Duty Modern Warfare (19). In November 2020, MW19s life cycle ended and developer Infinity Ward moved onto their next project. Another studio - Raven Software continued support for Warzone and due to the huge success of Warzone, publisher Activision decided to integrate future yearly CoD titles to Warzone. 

Due to Warzone still being tied to the MW client, every new Warzone update puts a greater hindrance to the MW experience. From huge update files to now updates that are breaking MW. As of today, MW is unplayable and completely broken due to the new Warzone update for the Caldera map launch (themed around the latest flagship game Vanguard). 

Modern Warfare players who want to play the Multiplayer are effectively punished due to Warzone. Huge update files and ballooning file sizes for content fans may not be interested in and is arguably no longer at all relevant to the MW game. MP packs and other packs have to be installed to combat the file size making the process of installing MW complicated and tedious. Often Warzone updates would create bugs that require installing these MP packs again in order to play. Sometimes failing too. 

Now, the Warzone update has actually broken MW. To abysmal system performance, lag, audio glitches, pause menu appearing every 5 seconds in gameplay. Some players aren't able to install MP packs that it's mysteriously made people reinstall. 

It's clear that the QA task is bigger and bigger as Warzone becomes more and more ambitious all the while trying to integrate 3 call of duty games weapons and characters into Warzone. With every update, comes the risk of breaking MW time and time again, a game that people paid good money for. And also imo a great game that has been butchered and abused by Warzone. 

All because Warzone is still tied the MW client, despite MW having nothing to do with Warzone's promotion anymore. The battle pass and seasonal content is all tied to the current CoD game which is now Vanguard, and before that Cold War.

So please, the time has come, this isn't feasible anymore, please make Warzone its own client and allow MW to be left alone bug free and update free where players can enjoy the game for what it is.
