Shadowlands has been nothing short of a failure from a writing standpoint and World of Warcraft’s playerbase has had enough. We want a return to a more grounded story, but Shadowlands showed no sign of it. Steve Danuser, a man who has praised the critically-panned final season of Game of Thrones, has been the man behind this, and we want him gone and the expansion retconned. Shadowlands is not Warcraft. It’s Steve’s pet project with Warcraft characters in it.
