Our civics class has been working on the topic of field trips for our Civics in Action Project. This is an important issue for students because it improves our education because it's better to learn outside of a classroom than to sit in a classroom and learn. This issue is caused by not enough money, covid protocols, and not as many chaperones. In order to solve this problem, we plan to have fundraisers,  ask parents to come along, and use caution for covid when out. If we were successful in solving this problem it would benefit our learning because if we are outside instead of being stuck inside learning from books, computers, and papers. This way kids can see the world for themselves and get a better understanding of what they're learning. We also want the school committee to put more money aside specifically for field trips.
