Around the world, KIIT, to an extent is praised for its embracing stance to its students in general but especially its international students. However, could the 'lovable kiitians ' slogan be a show or a face to the media?

Normally, there is a specific hostel that is set for international students, one that is ideal for their stay but recently they want them to move to hostels with deplorable conditions yet they clearly mentioned in the induction that they will be comfortable once they report to the campus.

They want them to pay to stay in those hostels where they have already settled in. How is that fair? Why did they not inform them before they came to campus? Why was it not indicated in the admission letters? Was that a decision made on the spot? A decision that cannot be put across officially? A decision that has no explanation whatsoever?

When asked all they say is "the rooms have already been booked" yet they want them to pay to stay in those hostels, contradicting much?

No one leaves the comfort of their own home and travel overseas to stay in shambles and live in paranoia of infections from the bad state of the environment they are put in. They should have communicated all these 'stories' before rushing them to report to campus.

If KIIT truly cares for its international students then they should consider major things before making demands and commands of shifting them to hostels in a deplorable state! Let them stay in the hostels they are in or at least shift them to  hostels that are ideal for their stay here at your campus.
