We, the undersigned, call on MLA Martin Long, Minister of Education Adriana LaGrange, Premier Jason Kenney, for the immediate suspension of the Superintendent of Grande Yellowhead Public School Division, Mrs. Carolyn Lewis. It is our opinion, that an immediate independent investigation into the allegations of "abusive language and demeanour, physical and verbal intimidation, threatening behaviour, fear tactics as well as discrimination" from Mrs. Lewis towards staff, parents, employees and stakeholders, warrants her immediate suspension or removal from her position of Superintendent. It is our opinion that the current Board of Trustees have not taken appropriate actions in these matters, and we call on the Honorable Minister of Education to assign an impartial, independent team to look into the allegations of misconduct and actions of the superintendent and board of trustees.
