We need your help!   The Merrick County Child Development Center has needed to expand for years due to increasing need for child care in our community.

Plans have drafted and supplies have been ordered.  In order to keep child care costs reasonable, as everything else around us is rising, we need to go into this expansion debt free.  Meaning we can't put a shovel in the ground until the project is 100% funded.  

This is a two step process.
1. Call your county commissioner.
2. Sign the petition in support of our county commissioners allocating ARPA funds to MCCDC’s expansion. 

Access to child care will…

*Eliminate/Decrease time on the “wait list” – 20 plus kids are currently on the wait list at all times – without expansion the wait list will be a 2 plus year wait

*Community growth -  without child care how will Central City attract working parents?

*Economic Impact – if parents can’t work, parents can’t spend money locally.
