Abolishing Child Labour

Hello Everyone. I am Ambish Kumar Borpuzari. I am a student at class 8 in Carmel School Jorhat, and a child parliamentarian at PICP. I am happening to write this petition as I sincerely want to make you aware about the consequences and the devastating effects of Child Labour. It is a practice that accounts for the most exploitation of rights against children. I presume that if such practices are not put in a halt, then our nation, India, will never be able to flourish and cherish in terms of economically and socially, and the youth of our nation will never be able to scale into new heights.

The consequences and the effects of child labour are staggering. For children, it can lead to slavery and social or sexual or economic exploitation. It can also lead to physical and mental anguish for children. It also poses as a treacherous threat for children from receiving education in schools, endangering their fundamental rights, and jeopardising their future. I want to see my utmost beautiful motherland, India flourish in every possible facet. Therefore, as a child parliamentairan, I want to work on abolishing child labour and various other similar practices.
