With a massive hike in energy and utility charges, we've also seen a hike in standing charges- some as high as 80%. Energy prices are set to increase again in October, as will standing charges.

Let the companies already making record profits for their shareholders take the hit. Let's get them abolished. Let the companies pay for any research, any maintenance, any research into improving THEIR business from THEIR shareholders profits, not OUR pockets.
