It’s completely unfair, irrational, and illegal. Every individual vote should count. It’s not a Democratic system and/or process. The popular vote should be called Vote. The Popular vote is a joke to Democracy however we can agree on us that by labeling The “American vote” the popular we are admitting the electoral college is not popular, its flaw and it’s built to target people of color who seem like thread to the Republicans instead of fellow Americans. Every vote should be counted individually as it is our right as American citizens. This is just one of the many deplorable voter suppression against colored people based on white supremacy. It’s embarrassing to say even American infrastructure was built to exclude communities of colored people, same as banks' abusive and discriminatory practices against colored colored communities and individuals. This was just happening in 2010.

I firmly believe this change has to effect inmediately.

“It is often said that being an American means sharing a commitment to a set of values and ideals.1 Writing about the relationship of ethnicity and American identity, the historian Philip Gleason put it this way:

To be or to become an American, a person did not have to be any particular national, linguistic, religious, or ethnic background. All he had to do was to commit himself to the political ideology centered on the abstract ideals of liberty, equality, and republicanism. Thus the universalist ideological character of American nationality meant that it was open to anyone who willed to become an American.”

 I expect the Biden/Harris administration to take action on this incredibly urgent matter so we can finally have a true democracy, live in equality, and where absolutely everyone’s voice is valued.
