Recently Abington High School has changed their graduation gowns to the color black. In the past, the girls have worn white and the boys, maroon. But you see, this offended the non-binary students and they made a petition to stop this sexist occurrence forcing everyone to conform to their ideas. We should not make all these students have to wear black, which by the way attracts the sun in the hot June heat, but instead have only non-binary kids wear it. I think going out of our way to get new gowns is pretty stupid and doesn't make a lot of sense since our school colors our white and maroon. So what should we do? Keep years of tradition going or cave in to like 6 out of 2,000 Abington students who had their feelings hurt. This petition might not change Abington's mind since nowadays everyone is too afraid to think for themselves in fear of being "cancelled" or something, but I have to know that there are some sane people in this district who don't want to encourage this ridiculousness.                                        Sincerely,                                                                          A future Abington graduate
