Knockhall Road, Newburgh, Aberdeenshire currently has a National Speed Limit in place.

The road is a single track, used most frequently by pedestrians as opposed to vehicles.  Drivers of vehicles that use the road drive at speeds not appropriate to the road, especially given that children and parents use it to walk to school and it is generally enjoyed by local walkers, runners and cyclists.

The road is also lined with rear gardens giving access to the road and a new residential development to the west of the village now provides pedestrian access to it.

The community would benefit from a maximum speed limit of 30MPH or a complete restriction to vehicles as the road would be much safer, therefore minimising the risk to people using the road and maximising the enjoyment of walkers runners and people exploring the the local area.
