Whereas; to the many people who wanted someone more interesting than Richards this feels like getting Monkey's-Pawed/bait-and-switched/whatever-appropriate-idiom and therefore like a show that prides itself on being the more intellectual sort of quiz show shouldn't be what feels like that intellectually dishonest that it even fooled many media outlets

Whereas; even looking aside the fact that they're both Jewish (as she is more obviously and openly so and even wore a Jewish star pin while guest hosting) choosing a boring unknown-other-than-Jeopardy-connection-that-isn't-even-winning-it man with harassment and discrimination allegations against him over a beloved female geek icon with just enough quirks to make it interesting but not enough to overpower the show/contestants seems like Jeopardy is betraying the trust of its viewers or at the very least its aforementioned "hoity toity intellectual" reputation to the point where there was some sort of joke in some category years ago about a Jeopardy fan drinking game being "watch CNN and take a sip of Darjeeling tea every time someone says "Madam Speaker""

Whereas; if Mayim can find the time to do all this spinoff stuff and Call Me Kat (a sitcom I've seen enough people dislike that people were generally surprised it got renewed for S2 and others have said it might not last long beyond that S2), why would mainline syndicated Jeopardy be a bridge too far suddenly for her schedule when it doesn't even film every day. If Noah Wyle could juggle two weekly cable dramas in Falling Skies and The Librarians, Mayim should be able to balance a sitcom and the full hosting position when it requires much less work

Whereas; Mike is more problematic than you'd think to look at him (as mentioned, harassment and discrimination allegations, imagine what he might do to female contestants if he had the job security of being a permanent host that he couldn't have gotten away with as a guest host) and Mayim is less problematic than you'd think (she does not come across as a narcissist at all and she is certainly not an anti-vaxxer, her kids have their shots and her whole family's vaccinated against COVID, all she disagreed with in terms of her kids' required shots was the schedule of what they were supposed to have when).

Whereas; if she got the syndicated "main" gig, think of all the little girls, be they Jewish, aspiring scientists or just "weird" or some combination of the above, who'd see her every night around dinnertime and (even if this doesn't mean they'd want to be quiz show hosts) metaphorically want what she has. What's another white male boring game show host who I didn't even know was Jewish until I heard Jewish media outfit Kveller talk about the hosting split going to do for representation?

Whereas; if as producer Richards had any involvement in this decision not only would that reek of nepotism (who should get the main gig, I know, me) but also another instance of discrimination as as I said he's sidelining the "weird girl" to the spinoffs

Whereas; having the same host across all things if you're going to "make Jeopardy a franchise" would provide more consistency across it and if there had to be only one of the two hosting she's pretty clearly the better choice than him

Whereas; if you don't like who's on a show you don't have to watch it so don't try and act like your dislike of her somehow justifies them not picking her for the main gig (Richards is a different case because of his past)

Whereas; a role like host needs someone who's engaging and fun and if they were going to have a boring host (what justified their negotiations with Richards) then as I said on my last petition why not pick Watson the AI as unlike Richards he's actually not just a Jeopardy alum but a Jeopardy champion who even bested Ken Jennings (something you couldn't even say about Brad Rutter or James Holzhauer)

Whereas; Jeopardy's already going to ruffle a few feathers with the transition to a new host in the first place, why not pick the less controversial one and not see the ratings tumble

Therefore; Mayim Bialik should host all of Jeopardy, syndicated, primetime and spinoffs
