Stop the advertising of Similac for Supplementation

Abbott Laboratories is in direct violation of the World Health Organinzation International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes. According to the WHO code manufacturers of breast-milk substitute are not allowed to advertise or promote products. Neither can they provide directly or indirectly free samples to pregnant women, mothers or members of their families. The corporations violate the Code every day but this newest formula product that is being market directly to breastfeeding mothers who may be struggling is appalling. The code reads "9.1 Labels should be designed to provide the necessary information about the appropriate use of the product, and so as not to discourage breast-feeding." This product cleary is discouraging to breast-feeding!
