Safe Relocation Please!
Recently my family and I have made a hard decision and let Coach Amy know we will not be returning to Broderick. We LOVE AAYA, but I refuse to subject my kids to Broderick park any longer. Some may say I shelter my kids but I'm raising queens and a little prince. Every 3 seconds at Broderick you hear the F* word and every 5 the N* word. Lately, there's a lot of weed smoking as well. We have been dancing and cheering with Broderick for 3 years. I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO FEELS THIS WAY! We joined for that fun, safe, everyone is accepted environment. However, my 4 yr can't leave the car anymore during practice because he got in trouble for saying the F* word at school. I also have mixed children and live in a society where the N* word is normalized, but IT WON'T BE IN THIS HOUSE! Don't get me wrong, i cuss a ton but my children knows the difference between an adult and a child. The basketball court is all KIDS doing this. I went to the recreation workers TWICE and they didn't care. Told me it was a public court and nothing he could do. Aaya only uses the room so technicallyits our choice to come. He didn't even get up when i said my 4 year old is outside sir and they're smoking heavy outside. Talk about ignorance when your running a rec center. I don't know that this will make them change their mind, but i thought it was worth a try.
Thank you for your time
