Aaron Sanders Deserves to Walk At Graduation!
This petition made change with 603 supporters!
Aaron Sanders, a senior at Headland High School in Headland, Alabama, has attended Henry County Schools since Kindergarten. The friends he grew up with are preparing to graduate in less than two weeks--but not Aaron. After attaining a 3.2 GPA, acquiring 34 credits (needing only 32), keeping perfect attendance, helping his teammates (as this year's quarterback) make it to the state playoffs, and passing all parts of the graduation exam, but one. He is scheduled to retake the reading portion of the test in July, but is being denied, by the Henry County Board of Education, the right to walk with his peers at the graduation ceremonies. When are we going to start making sure that the ones' salaries we, as a community, pay listen to what is BEST for our children. This issue will not stop until someone thinks about the child's right to walk! This is important enough for the board to be visited by all Aaron's supporters. And if that's what it takes, then so be it. Next . . . "We all will walk for Aaron to graduate!"
PLEASE READ THE PETITION LETTER AND SIGN IT. AARON IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME, AND WE DON'T WANT TO SEE THE SCHOOL'S LET DOWN, YET ANOTHER, CHILD IN THIS COUNTRY!
THANK YOU FROM ALL OF THOSE WHO SUPPORT AARON SANDERS!
