Make the visitor spaces at Brooklands Park free for residents family and friends.
Brooklands Park is a new housing development consisting of 6 new blocks of flats on the old site of Brooklands College in Ashford, Surrey.
Upon moving in, residents were advised of numerous visitor spaces for friends and family to visit them on a first come, first serve basis which was a major selling point due to limited parking in the area off Ashford Highstreet.
Since moving in, A2 Dominion along with P&P Management have installed an ANPR camera and put parking fee's in place. These fee's include a maximum stay of 10 hours (during paid and unpaid hours). Therefore, residents family and friends cannot park here to visit overnight without having to move their car for an hour, every 10 hours.
A2 Dominion have stated that the visitor car parking spaces marked with 'V' sign are for the small public field, and not for residents of Brooklands Park visitors. Therefore, there is no Visitor parking spaces allocated specifically for residents within the new housing development which will cause a rise in local areas around the Ashford Highstreet Area to become significantly busier.
