Growing up my father got sick several times. While I was growing up I lived partially both in Europe and in the United States. This allowed me to view the health care system in both worlds and realized that the United States of America needs a universal healthcare system. What is a universal health care system? A universal healthcare means that everyone no matter, race, age, income, or social status has equal access to a system of healthcare that offers quality and that improves the health of its patients, without causing them financially harm. My family and I almost have to go into bankruptcy due to my fathers medical expenses in the United States. If the United States where to have this system they would not only have less unpaid medical debt but also allow it’s population to live healthier and longer lives without having to worry to be overcharged for getting checked up.
