Companies have taken things in their own hands. By lowering the pay for Owner Operators, and billing the customers more money. For  services that the Companies do not pay for at all. The Companies are just making more money from a bad situation, while trying to make the truckers out there do this for free. The prices should had never change, the prices would had offset for the high fuel cost. Truckers we are the backbone of this country, and we are the least respected for all the goods and services we do. Truck drivers nationwide should be offer $5 as a starting point for bids and brokers. There's no place in this country you can buy fuel for a $1.50 - $2.90 and make a living taking care of your family. DOT are working with big Companies, while finding new ways to charge us. We need a nationwide Bill for Trucks to have the minimal Miles Per Hour of $5 on bids and brokers.
