We are asking for your support in the name change of Potrero Hills Dakota Street, from 23rd downhill to 25th into; Dr. Reginold P. Daniels Way. Here's a few reasons why:

As a result of the increased crime within District 10 during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Potrero Hill community has had the opportunity to enjoy various events that have hosted mainly during the summer in an effort to increase peace in the streets and promote love with the innovation of Post-Covid Therapy through Alchemy Arts. These events organized by Dr. Reginold P. Daniels, a 3rd Generation Potrero Hill native have successfully combined art, music, dance and food with leadership, workforce development, re-entry and recovery rehabilitation support to rebuild commerce and healthy relationships in our community. These annual events entitled The Summer of Love Series have become popular as attraction for resources, comraderie  and spiritual growth.

Over the last four years that I have worked with Dr. Reginold Pazelee Daniels through board chair,  as President of the San Francisco American Legion Auxiliary Post 198, A Better Choice Housing Organization and Transformational Miracles. Reggie is an amalgamation of fortitude, sustainable impactful leadership, creative charisma, artistic radicalism, tenacious dominance and fierce superior justice. As a father, brother, son/grandson, professional, friend and scholar I have witnessed and experienced his ability to transform, transcend and transmute great challenges head on like a smooth operating warrior creating trends, success formulas and progressive strategies.

As a professor in an effort to improve relationships with local law enforcement members, Dr. Daniels has also facilitated workshops for San Francisco’s 2019 graduating police academy cadets as well as a host of other local organizations for social justice and reform. Dr. Daniels is the Founder and CEO of Transformational Miracles Inc. (which is in excellent tax status), a non-profit organization designed to help formerly incarcerated citizens and members from marginalized communities thrive in education and business. In addition, Professor DanielsI serves on several boards to give back to the community ie; He serves the San Francisco Close Juvenile Hall Working Group, on the San Francisco Chief of Police community advisory board, and currently on the Bayview station community advisory board of district 10. His service includes a Board of Directors member for Insight Prison Project for over 10 years. Professor Daniels has been a motivational speaker at San Quentin, Pelican Bay, several county jails and Juvenile facilities. Professor Daniels presented the keynote address at Massey University, a Restorative Justice conference at Huston Tillotson University, and traveled to Germany, Prague, and New Zealand to deliver motivational speeches that promote peace and prosperity. Professor Daniels has been highly sought after to facilitate cultural competence trainings for various organizations throughout San Francisco and abroad.

This list of contributions to our community is modest yet profound. Honoring Dr. Reginold P Daniels will not only give homage to his frllow graduating class at Archbishop Riordan Sr. High School  whom have gone on to create success withing their communities also. However it would give greater homage to both his parents who gained their wings together from addiction over 20 years ago, Grandma Rose who gained her wings to COVID 19 last year, to those who have taken their wings in Potrero Hill due to homicide, suicide or by accident as well as those who barely died yet survived by the grace of God. 

As a matter of fact, Dr. Reinold P. Daniels is one if any, honorable survivors whom crashed over the cliff in a vehicle with his mother as a child. Not only did he survive the deadly accident where fatalities frequently occur at the same location, Dr. Reginold P Daniels is also a survivor of being shot and left to die innocently on two separate occasions. Not only did he not loose faith as a result of these tragedies and succumb to a life of drugs, alcohol, gangster related activities and incarceration which followed... he miraculously converted his trauma into triumph by obtaining his doctoral degree and utilizing it to educate even some of the greatest scholars today through his work in the white collar, blue collar and non-collared arenas. 

We are beyond proud to launch this campaign with full intent of manifesting greatness for our generations of champions to follow.
