Flora day 2022 was incredible, but seeing the amount of single use soft plastics left in the streets was disappointing as Helston is striving to be plastic free. To combat this waste I propose the flora day association and the bars in helston work together to buy high quality flora day policabanate plastic glasses, like many festivals do. This would be a small cost to the customers but would encourage reuse of these glasses when brought back to the bars. If bought in bulk the cost would be minimal and fund future years of sustainability
