Without appropriate consultation of either the membership or the wider community and consequently without the approval of the membership, the General Committee of Saltburn Cricket, Bowls and Tennis Club is seeking to install a ParkingEye charging and management system to oversee the club car park. Prior to this installation planning permission has not been sought - and thereby not granted - nor is agreement forthcoming from any parish or ward Councillors.

This arbitrary and unsanctioned action places at risk the standing and reputation of the club within the community. We, the membership of the club, the wider community and stakeholders call upon the General Committee to rescind the decision to install the ParkingEye management system, keeping the car park free until a proper and thorough consultation has been concluded. In addition, and primarily due to the abuse of position by those members of the General Committee who have overseen these unendorsed actions, we the membership and wider community call upon the members of Saltburn Cricket, Bowls and Tennis Club to hold immediate elections to these officer roles, as no confidence can be placed in the current post-holders and by extension the proper governance of the club remains in significant doubt.
