The area in which the suburb of Wolli Creek is located was once a sparsely populated industrial area in the suburb of Arncliffe.  Today Wolli Creek is a densely populated high rise suburb.  

High rise, high population and the popularity of ordering products online has created a parcel delivery problem in Wolli Creek.  Arncliffe Post Office cannot cope with the volume of parcels they are required to hold, hence they have been sending many to Kingsgrove Post Office.  Parcel lockers at Discovery Point, Wolli Creek although helpful are also not sufficient and often they are out of order.  

A Wolli Creek Post office would solve the problem and also provide other services such as banking and sale of office supplies etc.
