This petition is to show support and to prove that there is a genuine local need for a concrete skatepark in the West Greeley area.

The new skatepark will be a free-to-use, safe, inclusive and family orientated sports facility for users of all ages.

Skateparks are proven to increase health, well-being, community cohesion whilst reducing social exclusion and anti-social behaviour. The skatepark will not only benefit skatepark users, it will enhance the town and will be an asset to the whole community.

This skatepark can also help people with the high gas prices, so parents don’t have to drive there kids to other skate parks and waste gas.

Another reason to validate the petition is because there is a ton of new apartments being built where the skatepark may be built. So if a skatepark is built, then it may help fill up all those new apartments.
