A new bank branch in Clydach

A new bank branch in Clydach
The Communities of Clydach, Glais & Craig Cefn Parc, and surrounding areas, were once served by three High Street banks.
Lloyds, HSBC and Barclays closed their doors to our residents for in-branch services with the last closing 5 years ago, leaving residents with no point of contact for personal or business banking.
We are all affected, including many who used to rely on a one to one service, and are now forced to travel out of their local area to meet with their provider. It's a problem which is getting worse as more and more High Street branches close their doors to the public.
Banc Cambria have a plan to provide services where it has been taken away, and we believe Clydach is a truly worthy candidate for their rollout of new branches.
The community doesn't deserve to have the big banks turn their back on them. We believe Banc Cambria has a model which is more community and customer focused, delivering in areas where they are needed.
We have sounded out the idea of a new bank opening a branch on our High Street for the first time in over 5 years, with a very positive response. Some even saying they'll switch banks if there's one on their doorstep.
The new bank, which is backed by Welsh Government, plans to roll out 30 new branches initially and we want Clydach to be on the list of priority areas. We can make this happen with your support!
